Foreign Exchange Program

Foreign Exchange Program

St. John Bosco believes that the dialogue that comes with students from around the world enriches all of us, and we welcome the learning and growth International Students bring to our campus.

St. John Bosco High School (SJB) is a top-rated, private, all-boys, college preparatory Catholic school located in Los Angeles, CA. For more than 80 years, SJB has been dedicated to forming young men of purpose focused on intellect, leadership, and citizenship. Our educators strive to instill within their students a work ethic based on mutual trust, confidence, respect, and collaboration.

St. John Bosco Hockey hosts student-athletes from various countries including the Czech Republic and looks to build the opportunity to bring more student-athletes into our program.

No other high school program in California creates this unique opportunity that provides a second-to-none experience for both the exchange student and host family. Through this opportunity, our student-athletes will build friendships and learn about cultures.

Student Information System

As a private Catholic school, we are authorized under Federal law to enroll non-immigrant students. We issue I-20 student visas to highly qualified students interested in studying in the United States and who are committed to advancing themselves in a Catholic college preparatory community. St. John Bosco is currently issuing I-20s, required for Student Visas.

Before You Apply

St. John Bosco High School strongly encourages entry into the 9th or 10th grade for international students. Exceptions are made on occasion for well-qualified students interested in other grades. Please inquire for more information by contacting Tomas Kapusta at tomas@jrreign.com.
